Parent & Child

Family Clay Sculpting Workshops: A new project every month! The guided project has ample room for customization and creativity, so independent thinkers can take the project in where they choose.

The price includes one hand-sculpted piece per person. All ages are welcome, but if the child is 5 or under, parent & child can choose to sculpt a single piece together.

Reserve your space here.
NOTE: This is NOT a wheel throwing class. The wheel is recommended for kids 9+.

Family Pottery Wheel Workshops: 9+ only. Smaller bodies have a difficult time on the wheel, and we don’t want one’s first experience with the wheel to be frustrating simply because of body size!

This crash course on the pottery wheel includes a demonstration, about an hour on the wheel, some time for clean up, and at least one piece finished and fired per person. Extras may be kept for $5 each. Create side by side and have a blast making something that you can eat your snacks out of or drink from! Reserve your space here

Family Clay 5-Day Class Occasionally, we offer this short class for families to learn together. We will sculpt with clay and explore the pottery wheel.  The instructor will be focused on giving equal attention to all students, so younger students may need more help from parents. This class is held by request when there is a group large enough (6+ people).
