What are the minimum/maximum number of participants? The minimum required to book a private party is 6 participants. If you have less than that, you can still sign up for one of our regularly scheduled weekend workshops (the pricing is the same, there just may be other people in the workshop with you), and select a date that has enough openings for all the members of your party. Alternatively, you can just pay the 6th spot and have the space just to yourselves.
Maximums depend on the workshop and are lower during COVID times.
When can I book a party? Whenever there is a studio and a teacher available. We will happily book a party during normally closed times as long as a teacher is available.
Do you have a space for presents/cake? Yes! Book our party room for food/presents/cake, or to give parents a place to relax while kids are having fun! For $60 you get 3 hours of party room time. This gives you 30 minutes of set up time, the party room during your 1.5hr workshop, and one hour after the workshop for festivities. Any set up and clean up have to happen during your allotted window, otherwise there is a charge of $20/hr. Renting the room during hours we are normally closed is charged at a rate of $25/hr.
Can I bring in food and/or alcohol? Yes. Carry in-Carry out. Please leave no mess. We will provide the materials and instruction for a memorable hands-on workshop experience. You bring whatever decorations, food, or drink you’d like to make it a party. Any alcohol is carry in-carry out and staff cannot assist in serving, opening, or providing drink ware.
