Even though the year is just about over, we couldn’t go into 2018 without thanking our customers, partners, & supporters around the country. Without you, what we started in 2013, & the work we carry out everyday would not be possible. We want you to know, and hope you know, that you are what makes Studio 550 so special. You are why we fire up the kilns before dawn & why we strive to do good work throughout the greater community.

So thank you.

In honor of you we are proud to announce our upcoming Studio 550 Customer Appreciation Week, November 27 – December 2, 2017. Each day we will have a new in-store deal as well as a special week-long deal online & in-store.

Come see and hold handmade ceramic cups made by artists from around the country!

 

Date Night

Every Friday & Saturday, 6-7:30PM or 7:30PM-9PM

Simmer down & reserve a pottery wheel for play! We’ll guide you through a basic pottery lesson and then you will be set free on the wheel to make your own creations! One piece per person is included in the workshop. RSVP here.

Calling all of Santa’s helpers, young and old!

Studio 550 is hosting a variety of neat events in the coming months, & we don’t want you to miss out! Looking for a gift for that special someone, interested in learning more about local Artisans, or do you want to get your hands dirty in a workshop? Whatever it is, we’ve got plenty of holiday fun at Studio 550 this season for everyone. Here’s what you can expect:

 

5th Annual Cup Show & Sale – Opening Party

November 9, 2017, 6-7:30PM – Opening Party

November 9, 2017 – January 6, 2018 – Exhibit

Come see and hold handmade ceramic cups made by artists from around the country! During the reception on November 9th, we will have a raffle for a coffee and tea basket with goodies from local roaster A&E Coffee Roastery & Tea and from our Studio 550 Tea Room.

 

Handmade Holiday Market

November 18, 2017, 10-2PM

Looking for a great place to find gifts for the holidays or stock up on new decor for your home or office? You’re invited to our 5th Annual Handmade Holiday Market!

Many of the Artisans will be creating their work before your eyes at the market. Come see how your favorite gifts are made & meet the maker behind them!

 

Seasonal DIY Ornament Workshop

November 18, 2017, 10-2PM

In this workshop, visitors will get to create a variety of different ornament designs. The Studio will have stations set up with materials and instructions for a variety of different ornament designs.  

Guests can make up to five different ornaments for $15. We will have some designs that are appropriate for younger makers (3-5 years) and some for older and more skilled participants.

All materials and instruction will be provided. Most designs will be make-and-take, but any clay ornaments will have to be left here to be fired. Learn more or pre-register here.
